Employment arrangements within the oral health sector are more diverse than ever before. This diversity is to be celebrated and ADOHTA believes it reflects a positive workforce trend toward Dental and Oral Health Therapists’ being the chosen oral health care provider in a variety of settings.

However, challenges remain in ensuring all Dental and Oral Health Therapists’ are employed and/ or contracted in accordance with Fair Work Australia guidelines. ADOHTA recognises the need to offer member support when uncertainties arise.

ADOHTA Inc. has contracted the services of a solicitor with expertise in workplace arrangements for dental practitioners, including dental therapists, oral health therapists, and dental hygienists in both private practice and the public sector.
